H.A.L.T!

“Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out… But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me… you will not bring this community into the land I give them”  Num.20:11-12  [NIV] #3. Decisions! Decisions!! Decisions!!! This is one thing I can hear in my spirit consistently. Your decisions, they say, determine your destiny. It is not the devil; it is your decisions that determine your destiny. The turn you take or you do not take. Your decisions will either hasten or halt your destiny. So watch out for what I call the destiny H.A.L.T signs. Do not make impulsive decisions when you see a halt sign so as not to halt your destiny. What is a halt sign and how do we recognize a halt sign? What is the H in the H.A.L.T sign that you need to watch out for? H is for Hungry. Do not make impulsive decisions when you are hungry. That may sound trivial but it will save your life; ask Esau. He will tell...

Keep Taking Steps

ANCHOR TEXT: “Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, “Why stay here until we die? If we say, ‘We’ll go into the city’-the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die.  So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die” 2 Kings 7:3-4. Everything stands still for the person that stands still. Your expectation will not come and meet you where you are. You will have to take practical steps towards it. Having written down your desires, having prayed and planned, things may still remain as they are until steps are taken. Taking steps towards one’s desire gets God committed. It brightens the chances that you will accomplish it; and it demystifies the problem. It may be tough and rough; however, it is only by taking steps that the toughness can be reduced. There was an intimidating Red Sea in front of the children of Israel and Pharaoh’...

Understanding Your Personality In Life

ANCHOR TEXT: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations” Jeremiah 1:5. Barto, in 1998 submitted: ‘even as people experience different phases of their lives, their underlying personality remains constant after about age sixteen’. By personality, I mean one’s uniqueness, nature, temperament…etc. Therefore, knowing your nature or personality is very fundamental to your journey of life. Everything about your life actually takes root from it including what you do for a living. Thus, based on this fact, certain jobs or careers are not meant for you. God said that before Jeremiah was ever conceived, He knew him; and had set him aside as a prophet to nations. In other words, God was simply saying He knew his temperament, his nature, what He packaged inside him, that was why He put his feet on the path of ministry. Can you image that! QUOTE OF THE DAY:“UNDERSTANDING ONE’S PERSONALITY SIMPLIFIES LIFE’S V...

R.E.P GOD

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to breaking of bread and to prayer… All the believers were together and had everything in common” Acts 2:42 & 44  [NIV] #2: Your personal relationship with Jesus is key. This is the second derivative of Victory. Do not move without the Holy Spirit. Has God sent you on that journey? If not, then do not do it. Do not just do things because you can. I am passionate about seeing people grow spiritually so much that my first book ever, New Creation Reality, is about spiritual growth. I have crystalized spiritual growth into three words and to help you remember these three things is the acronym– R.E.P. For you to grow spiritually, the first thing you have to pay attention to is your Relationships [R for Relationships]. You will grow faster spiritually if you make friends with people for which spiritual growth is priority. I believe in the Word of God and reading the Bible. But note that the New Testament chu...

Theme; Appointed Day of Mercy Memorise: And the publican standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. Luke 18:13 Read: Genesis 19:15-17 15 And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city. 16 And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city. 17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed. Message Since the fall of man at the Garden of Eden, the only factor that has sustained man in this world is God’s mercy. When a man receives God’s mercy, it woul...

Labouring is not just enough

ANCHOR TEXT: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” Proverbs 3:5-6. It is not all those that work hard day and night that have enviable results to show. You might be wondering why. One of the causes is putting one’s efforts in the wrong direction. A sprinter that leaves his track for another man’s track will get disqualified even if he is the first to breast the tape. Labouring in a wrong direction wastes time, resources and will ultimately get one frustrated. Allan pastries was a family-owned bakery in Pennsylvania that had a loyal customer base and had operated profitably for more than four decades. But in 1990s, the owners decided to expand-to offer sandwiches and other goods and to add new locations for both retail and wholesale sales. The bakery’s owners had never worked harder in their lives than they did after the expansion, because their efforts were in a wrong d...

Theme: Eternal Damnation Memorise: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:16 Read: Mark 16:15-18 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Message Eternal damnation is the worst thing that can happen to anyone, it is damnation for a lifetime here on earth and in eternity. Our Lord Jesus Christ said: “And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to...
