Hear God First

"The world hears only those who hear God" ANCHOR TEXT: “By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me” John 5:30. There are many voices that speak to the heart of a man: voice of discouragement, unfriendly friends, scorpions, lions, sycophants and flesh. If these are words that first come to one’s mind in a day, they may compete with and choke up God’s voice for the day. The fact remains that no one will ever hear you in your generation, except you have heard from God. A word from God can carry you for years and distinguish you from the crowd. There are serious imitations in the world today because only a few carry the original, majority are grappling with fakes, just because they are deaf or impatient to hear the voice that can make them stand out. The golden secret of Jesus was His addiction to hearing daily from His father while He was on earth. Source: Monthlyturningpoint...

Open Heavens Daily Devotional Thursday 17th March 2016

Theme: A Royal Priesthood Memorise: And hast made us unto our God kings and Priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Revelations 5:10 Read: 1st Peter 2:9-10 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. Message The problem with many believers is that they find it difficult to believe what the scripture says about them. We allow the devil to convince us, telling us that we are not as qualified as God says we are, and that we do not have the ability to do what the Word says we can do. God created us in His own image and gave us the ability to reign on earth. The capabilities and qualities required of us to exercise our priesthood were also given to us. However, many people are not exercising thei...

Dominion Mandate daily devotional Thursday, Mark 9:14-24

Theme: Stop Limiting Yourself Mark 9:14-24 Quite often it happens that the greatest enemy to your progress in life is the person living under your skin. Yes, you can be the biggest obstacle to your own progress through the things you think, the things you believe and the things you say. One of the most popular sayings attributed to Henry Ford is “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you are right.” He says in other words, that the man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can’t are both right. The counsel given by Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the U.S. is: “Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” It is indescribable what happens at that point that you accept the reality that a task that once seemed impossible can indeed be accomplished. One explanation to what happens at such a moment is this: At that point you come into agreement with God’s own declaration that nothing is too hard for Him to do (Jer. 32:17). This makes you a vessel God can use...
