Get God’s Word For It - Joseph Prince

He [Jesus] answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”  Matthew 4:4 When the devil tempted Jesus, Jesus turned the Word of God on him, saying, “It is written…It is written…It is written…”  Matthew 4:4, 7, 10 Likewise, should the devil remind you of the pain in your body, say what God’s Word says: “It is written, ‘By His stripes I am healed!’” (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24) And tell Daddy God, “I have Your Word for it and I am standing on Your Word. I am not trying to be healed. My healing has already happened. I don’t care what this body says. It has to line up with Your Word because by Jesus’ stripes I am healed!” And if the devil says to you, “Look at the meager balance in your bank account. How are you going to pay your bills?” just say, “I'm not going to worry because I know that my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.’ (Philippians 4:19) It...

God's Family - Pastor Femi Monehin

God's Favourite House Daily Devotional 29th Friday July 2016  (Theme: God's Family) “How could one person chase a thousand of them, and two people put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, unless the LORD had given them up?” Deu.32:30 “Each one of you will put to flight a thousand of the enemy, for the LORD your God fights for you, just as he has promised” Josh.23:10. I am sure you will agree with me that if God stopped here it is beautiful by itself. One person putting to flight a thousand is not normal. But if we go by the natural law of synergy, two will put to flight maybe three thousand, definitely more than two thousand, perhaps even four thousand maximum. But God says, one will put to flight a thousand, two would put ten thousand to flight. Wow! That is why the devil always wants you to fight with your spouse. That is the only reason why he wants you to sleep on the same bed and face different directions [not to be in agreement]. It is because he k...

We're Winning - kenneth copeland

From Faith To Faith Daily Devotional Friday 29th July 2016 (We're Winning) Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not. – Numbers 14:9 Thousands of years ago, God told the children of Israel to go up and occupy the land that He had given them. He told them to take it, by force and without fear, from the ungodly ones who were dwelling there. He's still saying that today. God is still trying to get us, as His people, to take the good land He's given us. He's still trying to get us to use the power He's given us to run the wicked one out. You see, this earth doesn't belong to the devil. It belongs to God (Psalms 24:1). The devil has just moved in and taken control of things because we believers haven't stopped him. That is our job, you know. Jesus took Satan's legal rights away from him on Resurrection morn...

Just Do It Right - pastor E.A Adeboye

Open Heavens Daily Devotional Friday 29th July 2016 (Just Do It Right) Memorise: And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. - 2 Corinthians 10:6 Read: 1 Samuel 15:16-23 Message A good number of people confuse service for God's approval or acceptance. It will be profitable for people, particularly children of God, to understand that it is one thing to engage in the service of God and it is another thing for God to accept your service. The simple message for today is- "just do it right, and God will accept you and your service". The Bible says: "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." Romans 12:1 In our Bible reading today, we read of the first king in Israel who put sacrifice over and above being obedient to God and His Word. God told king Saul to go and utterly destroy the Amalekit...
