It’s Time to Redefine Failure - Rick Warren

Daily Hope Devotional Sunday 31st July 2016 By Rick Warren “Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe”  - Proverbs 29:25 NIV Satan’s favorite tool to diminish your faith is the fear of failure. But you cannot serve God and be constantly worried about what other people think. You have to move forward. Proverbs 29:25 says, “Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe” (NIV). So how do you get rid of the fear of failure? One way is to redefine failure. What is failure? Failure is not failing to reach your goal. Failure is not having a goal. Failure is not failing to hit your target. Failure is not having a target. Failure is not falling down. Failure is refusing to get back up. You’re never a failure until you quit. So if you’re attempting something for the glory of God, that’s a good thing. Failure is not trying and not accomplishing anything. Failure is failing to try. Another way to get rid of the fear o

Divine Backing - Pastor E.A Adeboye

Open Heavens Daily Devotional Sunday 31st July 2016 By E.A Adeboye Memorise: There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Joshua 1:5 Read: Joshua 1:1-7 1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying, 2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. 3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. 4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast. 5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses,

Number Power - Pastor Femi Monehin

God's Favourite House Daily Devotional sunday 31 July 2016 By Femi Monehin   “Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble”  - Ecc.4:9-10 It is standard practice that when the enemy wants to destroy someone he starts by isolating them. The first time he pulls them out, they do not even notice on time. It is like a bonfire; if you pull a log out from the fire, it will still have fire on it. That log, by itself, will still burn for a while. So you find such people being arrogant and full of themselves because they think they are doing well by themselves. Guess what? Slowly but surely the fire will go off. When the fire goes off, then flies, insects, and all sorts will take residence on that log. I pray that that will not be your story. There is protection in community and the enemy knows that. So the better you are at getting along with people, the

Don't Serve the Problem - Kenneth Copeland

From Faith To Faith Daily Devotional Sunday 31 July 2016 By Kenneth Copeland Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him. – Isaiah 55:7 You can't win a victory as long as the problem is the biggest thing in your life! The Lord woke me up to that fact a few years ago. At that time I was facing some difficulties in my ministry that seemed so big to me, I thought about them from morning till night. Even though I was standing against them, I was thinking more about those problems than about the scripture promises I was standing on. Then I saw something in Matthew 6:24-25: "Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life...." I'd read that scripture hundreds of times, but that day I saw something I'd never noticed before. I saw that immediately after Jesus said, "No man can serve two masters," He said, "Take no thought
