Anger Management: Keep your anger at a bay

Anger is a completely normal, healthy, human emotion, but when it gets out of control and turns destructive, it can lead to problems and make you feel as though you are at the mercy of an unpredictable and powerful emotion. Anger can be caused by both external and internal events. One could be angry at a specific person or event; it could be caused by worrying and brooding over one’s personal problems. No matter the cause of anger, one must be careful so it does not lead to jeopardy. A story of a young man was told: he had problem controlling his temper. The Resurrection!

  “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you” Rom.8:11 [emphasis added]   Easter is another name for The Resurrection. I would not argue about the origin of Easter; I will leave that to the critics. Instead, I will focus on Jesus. Rick Warren says, “The three days of the Easter season tells the story of our lives”. And what are the three days of the Easter season? The Good Friday, the Saturday, and the Resurrection morning [Easter]; these three days tell the story of our lives. When I look at the story of my life, it can be broken down into these different seasons. Everyone will go through the Friday season - the season of pain and rejection. It is the season when you are ostracized and you are confused. Some of us are in the Friday of our lives right now. You need to know that Jesus understood what it is to be in the Friday of life.
