Making Relations Special!

Sonia King wrote: When I was a kid, my Mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made dinner after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my Mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all dad did was reached for his biscuit, smile at my Mom and ask me how my day was at school. I don’t remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite! When I got up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my Mom apologize to my dad for burning the biscuits. And I’ll never forget what he said: “Honey, I love burned biscuits.” Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his biscuits burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, “Your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she’s real tired. And bes

QUOTE OF THE DAY:“EFFORT IS NEVER ENOUGH UNTIL GOAL IS ACHIEVED”

THEME: KEEP TRYING ANCHOR TEXT: “He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, “Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land” Genesis 26:22. Not all those who fire a shot hit their targets at the first attempt. If a thing does not work out the first time, it does not mean it will not work out. Perhaps there are things you need to know that you have not known; or there are things you need to see that you have not seen. A baby develops ability to walk by making persistent attempts, and by getting up every time he/she falls down. Isaac made several unrepentant attempts at digging up the well that his father Abraham attempted to dig but was not successful before he died, because of the enemies kept sealing it up. The first attempt Isaac made was aborted by the herdsmen of Gerar. The second was aborted, until he made the third attempt that was successful, that was the reason he called it Rehoboth.

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the tr

HOOK UP WITH YOUR DESTINY PARTNERS Luke 1:26-41 There are aspects of the assignment God has given to you that will not become a reality until you hook up with some persons God had planned before hand to be your destiny helpers. In His infinite wisdom, God raises and equips such persons with some dimensions of gift or knowledge that will be necessary for the successful execution of the assignment committed to you. John the Baptist was raised by God to be a fore runner and a destiny helper to the Lord Jesus Christ. John said in John 1:23, 26-27, “I am 'The voice of one crying in the wilderness: "Make straight the way of the LORD,” as the prophet Isaiah said."... "I baptize with water, but there stands One among you whom you do not know. It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose." God is the one that pairs people’s destinies. In the case of John and Jesus, the same Angel Gabriel that God sent to John
