Thirsty For More

Every day we encounter people who are on the hunt for satisfaction – in fact it is a journey we are all on. Jesus was aware of this fact, and it is clear in the way He interacted with people in his every day life. Today, Jesus promises us the same living water that He promised to the Samaritan woman. The water that He promises will never leave us feeling empty or unsatisfied. Before the woman could receive the living water, she had to confront her sins. Sin stands between us and the full satisfaction that is found in God. We must first acknowledge that we have failed and repent in order to drink the living water that Jesus offers to us. PRAYER:  Would you have treated the Samaritan woman the same way Jesus treated her? Pray that God would give you opportunities to reach out to the misunderstood.  Pray a prayer of repentance and ask God to help you to turn to Him for true satisfaction.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL WITH GOD MONDAY FEBRUARY 1 2016

THEME : LOOKING UNTO JESUS 2 HYMN: What are friend we have in Jesus Memorise : Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; Hebrew 12:2b Read : HEBREWS 12:1-2 1 WHEREFORE seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Message: The phrase "Looking unto Jesus" contains three very important words of salvation, encouragement and direction for daily Christian living. Nicodemus, in his search for the true God and eternal life like every human being, approached Jesus for possible understanding. Jesus made the new birth very plain by using an Old Testament illustration of the fiery serpents of bra

A NEW MONTH OF DIVINE ANNOUNCEMENT

But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John. Luke 1:13 The Bible is replete of records on how God announced some events before they finally happened. Because you made it into the new Month, God will specially announce you in Jesus name.  Whenever God want to do something unusual, He first of all announce it, for instance, when He wanted to delivered the children of Israelite from the hand of the philistine whom He has delivered them to, He sent an angel to break the new to the parent of the deliverer - Samson. Judges 13.  When God wanted to turn the hearts of men back to Himself, He sent angel Gabriel to announced the birth of John the Baptist to his father, Zacharias. Also when God was fully ready for the redemption of man, He first announced it to the one whose body His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ will pass through to the earth. Luke 1:26-38. That was their time b

DOMINION MANDATE DAILY DEVOTIONAL Monday, February 1

THEME: HE FORGIVES AND HEALS Psalms 103:1-13 Our passage today opened on a hilarious note, declaring, “Bless the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies” (Psalms 103:1-4). You will observe from this passage that God is as willing and able to heal your diseases as He is to forgive your iniquities. When your heart convicts you and points out something wrong you have done, you run to God’s presence in reverence and confess your wrongdoing. After confessing your sin before God, you rise up with an inner assurance that God has taken your plea for mercy and forgiveness and you embrace life with full joy and liberty once again. You should exercise the same level of trust and confidence in God when you pray for healing of sicknesses. When we pray,
