The seed of a thing is the feeling of it

ANCHOR TEXT: “Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weakling say, ‘I am strong!’” Joel 3:10. Feeling is a positive or negative feedback from human subconscious. When you woke up to life this morning, how exactly did you feel? Great, depressed, excited? Whichever, way is what will set the tone for the experience or encounter you may likely have for the rest of the day. Everything begins with the feeling of it. Sickness begins with the feeling of it. Failure, success, change, etc begin with the feeling of it. Gribble in the year 2000 did a study of people and their job performance and concluded that for most people studied, the first step toward improving their job performance had nothing to do with the job itself but with improving how they feel about themselves. Your feelings inform your attitude, action, reaction and countenance. But if you have to follow all your feelings all the time, particularly the negative ones, you may go astray. Yo

Theme: Divine Alternative Memorise: 28 And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou. 1 Samuel 15:28 Read : Acts 1:15-26 15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,) 16 Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. 17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. 18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. 19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood. 20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let

And while we keep that at the back of our minds, we should never ever forget our Source. Never ever ever forget your Source. I know these things sound simplistic but I have seen a lot of people shipwreck their faith because they gained victory in one area of life. It is so pathetic. But that will not be your story because you will not forget your Source. “They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was Your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from Your face that helped them, for You loved them” Ps.44:3. You are going to be victorious this year but it will not be by your strength. Yes, you will work hard but it is going to be by God’s favour, His blinding radiance and countenance. Neve
