COMPASS FOR TODAY (11/02/16)

Topic : But God was with him...  Acts 7: 9-10  9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him, 10 And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house. Good morning and welcome to the day the Lord has made. One thing we as God's children should desire is not money or fame, but that God should be with us. Joseph had the odds against him and faced difficult situations, but God was with Him. And because God was with him, He delivered him out of his afflictions, gave him favour and wisdom..., and made him governor over Egypt and all his house. Who is with you? David was able to conquer because God was with him, Jesus went about doing good and fulfilled his assignment because God was with Him. It dosent matter what life has handed over to you or what mess yoy have found yourself in, if God is with you, then your end shall be

REDEEMED AND RESTORED TO GLORY Revelation 5:1-10 The basis of our salvation and restoration to glory is spotlighted in our reading passage today. By saying that the Lord has redeemed us to our God by His blood, the scripture implies that through the blood Jesus shed for us on the cross, man has been returned to where he fell from. This is on the basis of the sacrifice made on his behalf by the Lord. We have been returned to a position where we are once again deemed as not having fallen from Glory. Christ has Redeemed us by His Blood unto Our God, to the end that we shall function as kings and priests, and we shall reign on this earth. “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth” (Revelation 5:9-10). THEME: FULFILLING GOD’S PURPOSE? II MEMORISE: And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. Genesis 2:15 Read: Genesis 1:26-28, 26. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. At the beginning of creation and before the fall of man in Genesis chapter three, the instruction given to humanity can be safely classified into three categories. Category one is to cultivate th
