Shut Out Of Light - Pastor William Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna Monday 18th July 2016 Key Verse: "But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them" - 2 Corinthians 4:3, 4 Text: 2 CORINTHIANS 4:1-6 The Theatre Arts magazine once recorded a most frustrating conversation. A subscriber dialed the magazine's number. "Sorry, " said the lady at the receiving end, "but there is nobody listed by the name of ‘Theodore Arts. '" The subscriber insisted. And the receiver repeated, "I told you, we have no listing for Theodore Arts. " By now the subscriber was yelling, "Confirm it, the word is ‘Theatre': T-H-E-A-T-R-E!" The operator came back with crushing finality: "That—is not the way to spell Theodore. " Spell out the gospel as you may, there are people who will never grasp it

Not A Hinderance - Pastor E.A Adeboye

Open Heavens Daily Devotional Monday 18th July 2016 Memorise : And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. - Romans 8:28 - Read : Philippians 1:12-21 Message While man does not have a way of getting solutions to his problems, God has uncountable ways of solving universal problems. This is because He is the Almighty. Another thing about the ways of God is that it does not appeal to the natural man. This truth is what Paul, an Apostle of Jesus Christ tried to convey to us in our memory verse for today when he wrote: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28 Paul wrote to encourage believers by telling them that the hardship he was going through was for the advancement of the gospel. It takes the eyes of faith to come to terms with this type of truth. In chains, he was moved from

Think  Differently I - Pastor Femi Monehin

God's Favourite House Daily Devotional Monday 18th July 2016 “Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting for those who belong to the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and never treat them harshly” Col.3:18-19 #2. Think differently. The second thing you need to do to simplify your life is to think differently. Imagine you have a long and complex ten-step process that you want to shorten to a simple four-step process and achieve the same result. The thinking that produced the ten-step process needs to change in order to produce the four-step process. If you keep thinking the same way, you cannot get anything better. To simplify the process, you need to think differently. So you need to ask what can be improved and how? Even the mother in the house has a ten-step process to a pot of stew. If you want to be efficient, you need to think through and think differently, to shorten the steps. Look at your tasks and ask, “what can be improved?” Look at every area of your life and

A Legend in Your Own Mind - Kenneth Copeland Ministries

From Faith To Faith Daily Devotional Monday 18th July 2016 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. – Romans 12:3 Do you want to know one of the secrets of staying in the will of God, of keeping yourself from getting off track? Don't overestimate yourself! Proverbs 16:18 says, "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall." How many times have we seen that borne out! How many times do we see believers get into trouble because they get an overblown idea of themselves. They begin to think they're so smart that they have it all figured out. Then, the next thing you know, they're thinking they have to straighten everyone else out. Instead of just letting Jesus be Head of the Church, they feel like they have to step in and do the job. Once that happens,
