Daily Prayers - Not A Hinderance

Prayer Points on Today's Monday 18th July 2016

1.Thank you Father for the beginning of another working week

2.Father, in every way I have fallen short of your Glory, have mercy and forgive me in Jesus name

3. Father, I declare my love for you, let all things work together for my good in Jesus name.

4. Father, I pray that the gospel of Christ will find expression among men and nothing will hinder the spread in Jesus name

5. Father, let all hindering situations on my way to success become a stepping stone to my breakthrough in Jesus name

6. Father, let every evil planned against my life, my home, my ministry by the enemy turn to good for me in Jesus name

7. Father, I command all hindering mountains in my life to give way today in Jesus name

8. Father, let the persecution against your church be a reason for the advancement of the gospel in Jesus name

9. Lord Jesus, you are the prince of peace, let your peace reign all over the world.

10. Lord, I pray for the salvation of our leaders. Bring them unto yourself that they may rule with righteousness

11. I receive boldness for all believers to preach the gospel without fear and with confidence in Jesus name

12. Father, I put my absolute trust in you. Don't let me ever be put to shame in Jesus name

Rom.1:20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. Setting Prisoners Free

Our Daily Bread Devotional 4th October, 2016 Read: Psalm 146 Bible in a Year: Isaiah 20-22; Ephesians 6 The Lord sets prisoners free. (Psalm 146:7) When my wife and I visited the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force near Savannah, Georgia, we were especially moved by the prisoner-of-war exhibit, with its re-creation of a German prisoner-of-war camp’s barracks. Marlene’s dad, Jim, served in the Eighth Air Force, the “Mighty Eighth,” as they flew missions over Europe during World War II. During the war, the Eighth Air Force suffered over 47,000 injuries and more than 26,000 deaths. Jim was one of those shot down and held as a prisoner of war. As we walked through the exhibit, we recalled Jim telling about the absolute joy he and his fellow prisoners felt the day they were set free. DCLM Daily Manna October 19th, 2016 Text: 2 Corinthians 10:1-11 Key Verse: “For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed” (2 Corinthians 10:8). Lord Acton was not wrong when he said: “Power corrupts, but absolute power corrupts absolutely”. In our society, we often see the reckless use of power by those who are privileged to be vested with power to serve the people. Instead of exercising the power for the benefits of the common man who they are expected to serve and defend, they turn the power to an object of oppression with which they victimize and oppress the poor. Paul consciously reminded himself and his congregation that the authority the Lord has given him and his team was not for the destruction of the people but for their edification.
