Have you ever felt like giving up? Have you ever felt like something is wrong somewhere? Have you ever laid on the bed at night and your problems have gotten so bad that it even seems like the darkness of the night has even turned its back on you. So, you lie awake in bed scared to go to sleep, wondering; will the night ever end? I am bold to tell you that what you are going through now is nothing compared to the beautiful things God has in stock for you. Life is in phases. Each day is a combination of night and day. A day cannot be completed without the night and the day experiences. There are periods in one’s life that one faces some hurdles despite fulfilling all righteousness. A good example here is, Joseph. A onetime prime minister of England, Ramsey MacDonald, was discussing with one of his officials (an expert on foreign affairs) on the possibility of lasting peace. The official was unimpressed and considered the prime minister’s idea as unrealistic. He scornfully remarked, “The desire for peace does not necessarily ensure it”. To this, the prime minister responded, “Quite true. But neither does the desire for food satisfy your hunger, but at least it gets you started toward a restaurant”. The Gibeonites’ toed the path of peace with Israel when their co-idolatrous Canaanites sued for war with the conquering Jews. Although they adopted deceptive strategy to achieve their aim, they had a desire for peace which resulted in their preservation. They ended up making a league with Israel and became servants to them. According to our memory verse for today, he says: “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer.” Whoever experiences these attributes of God in his life can be rightly described as the inheritance of the Lord. The psalmist further wrote: “They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abideth for ever. ” Pslams 125:1 One point to quickly note is that this Bible verse talks only to those who put their trust in the Lord, not those who have alternatives. David trusted totally in the Lord and he was never disappointed, that's why he had made such statements as this; “As the mountain are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.” Psalms125:2 In other words, the Lord builds walls of protection

“And if a house is divided (split into factions and rebelling) against itself, that house will not be able to last” Mark 3:25 [AMP] Mass has two components: Concentration and Unity. How many soldiers went to get water for David? Just three of them and they broke through the camp of the Philistines. The Bible says they broke through, which means that they fought their way through the Philistine camp. Three men against the entire Philistine camp of hundreds of thousands of soldiers.
