You are just a link or part of a long historical chain. Serving your generation with your gifts and resources is a temporary privilege. Thus, it is expected of you to tread softly and do it with utmost humility and reverence for God. Here is an account of someone that is very illustrative in this regard. Phil was the manager of his company. Just because he is a manager, and the owner of the company, he began to think that the company could not run without him.
