Victory in holiness

Memorise: Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.  Proverbs 14:34 Read: Daniel 6:19-23 19 At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions’ den. 20 When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?” 21 Daniel answered, “May the king live forever! 22 My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.” 23 The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God. Message There is victory in holiness. This is a fact that many do not know of and their ignorance makes them continue to live as fake Christians. When the eyes of a child of God are

Your ignorance will find you out

ANCHOR TEXT: “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” 2 Timothy 2:15. How would you feel if your colleagues are discussing and analyzing issues and you are helplessly left out because of your inability to make meaningful contribution? How would you feel if your mates or subordinates are asking you question, on a subject that they expect you to be more knowledgeable than them, and you are unable to provide convincing answer? Of course, you will feel humiliated, lost and embarrassed! I have listened to people say they would hide their ignorance and pretend before their colleagues that they know everything. However, it will one day find you out. QUOTE OF THE DAY:“THE MORE YOU HIDE YOUR IGNORANCE, THE DEEPER YOU GO IN IGNORANCE”

Healthy relationship matters {Romans 8:28}

 Yesterday, we saw the role of the Holy Spirit that helps us not to pray amis. Today, He wants to draw our attention to the importance of healthy relationship with Him in receiving quick and fast response to our requests.  In Matthew 5:45,we see Jesus talked about God's love towards everybody (both sinners or saints), but in PROV 8:17 we see the Lord talking about His special affection for those who love Him and also in Ps 145:20, we see God's careful attention towards those who love him.  There are General blessing, and there are common-wealth of heaven for those who love God.  You can’t fully enjoy this until you love God and have a healthy relationship with him.  So our text reads "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him...". Do you love God?  How willing are you to obey his command? For this is one proof of his love, He said,  "if you love me keep my commandment"

The Objective

“Where there is no vision, the people perish”  Prov.29:18  [KJV] We will be learning a lot from historical warfare and tying them to Scripture. About 331 BC, there was a king called Darius The Third; he was in charge of Persia. And there was a young Macedonian general called Alexander the Great. Alexander was just twenty-five years old and he many conquered territories. But God has a sense of humor. Alexander conquered territories but got to India and died of malaria on his way back. An ordinary mosquito! I fear God and you should too. Darius had two hundred thousand infantry Calvary lined up. Alexander had fifty thousand soldiers. Darius' plan was - we are many, let us attack them; we will win them. But Alexandra’s plan was different. He allowed Darius to capture some of his men and torture them until they began to confess but they were confessing wrong Intel. They told Darius that Alexander would attack at night. So Darius set up his whole army ready for battle, all night
