The seed of a thing is the feeling of it

ANCHOR TEXT: “Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weakling say, ‘I am strong!’” Joel 3:10.

Feeling is a positive or negative feedback from human subconscious. When you woke up to life this morning, how exactly did you feel? Great, depressed, excited? Whichever, way is what will set the tone for the experience or encounter you may likely have for the rest of the day. Everything begins with the feeling of it. Sickness begins with the feeling of it. Failure, success, change, etc begin with the feeling of it.

Gribble in the year 2000 did a study of people and their job performance and concluded that for most people studied, the first step toward improving their job performance had nothing to do with the job itself but with improving how they feel about themselves. Your feelings inform your attitude, action, reaction and countenance. But if you have to follow all your feelings all the time, particularly the negative ones, you may go astray. Your feelings must not always dictate your action. There are times you will follow your feelings, and there are moments you will have to ignore it.

The sower soweth the word. (Mark 4:14) Right now, at this very moment, you have hidden within you a treasure that can change the world. A treasure that can change a man's eternal destiny, that can take him to heaven and save him from hell.
