 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Using the story of Joseph in portipha's house as an illustration. Despite the fact that his Master's wife succeed in convincing the master that Joseph tried sleeping with her (BEATEN) ;

Joseph refused to be DEFEATED : even in the prison he continue living Holy and righteous life. Many atimes because you, as a lady, fall a victim to a man who is after your body (BEATEN), you then decide sleeping around with every available guy (DEFEATED) ; Satan set the trap and you choose to fall for it?

Being beaten is temporal while being defeated is permanent. Satan can vex but he cannot defeat believer in christ. Do not allow devil or some unpleasant circumstances to defeat you by given in to temptation even after falling a victim... RISE AGAIN.

Daily Grace Inspirations Thursday 11th August 2016 …“What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.” - John 6:28–29 When I was a young Christian, I attended a seminar on what we must do to “work the works of God”. I was told that we had to pray more, fast more, know our enemy and so on. I came away from the seminar confused. Then one day, I found the same question in the Bible. But the answer was very different!
