Labouring is not just enough

It is not all those that work hard day and night that have enviable results to show. You might be wondering why. One of the causes is putting one’s efforts in the wrong direction. A sprinter that leaves his track for another man’s track will get disqualified even if he is the first to breast the tape. Labouring in a wrong direction wastes time, resources and will ultimately get one frustrated.
Allan pastries was a family-owned bakery in Pennsylvania that had a loyal customer base and had operated profitably for more than four decades. But in 1990s, the owners decided to expand-to offer sandwiches and other goods and to add new locations for both retail and wholesale sales. The bakery’s owners had never worked harder in their lives than they did after the expansion, because their efforts were in a wrong direction.
