Think & Thank

“Seven times every day I praise You because of Your right rulings. Those who love Your law have an abundance of peace, and nothing along their paths can cause them to stumble” Ps. 119:164-165 [Voice] God’s instruction for us in this season is Re-Tune. We have seen some of the things that detune us. And we have learnt that the desired frequency, the pitch perfect tune is joy. This joy comes with righteousness and peace. So how do those of us that are out of tune re-tune? And how do those of us that have never been tuned get in-tune? Three things; The first thing is Gratitude. Find something to be grateful for. As the days in the year roll by very quickly, take some time out to just reflect. I know the enemy will try to get you to be ungrateful by putting in front of you the things that have and have not happened to you. The enemy is going to try to stir your focus to problems and the area you are struggling in. Know before hand that it is all in an attempt to detune you. Instea...

Theme: Beware Of Enticing Mockers Memorise: Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise. Proverbs 20:1 Read: Genesis 19:30-38 30 And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters. 31 And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth: 32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father. 33 And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose. 34 And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserv...

Cure for Worries

Text: Phil 4:6,7. Matt 6:25-27 Worries and anxiety are diseases only you can cure, it goes beyond the help of your doctor, pastor, spouse etc. If it comes to worries and anxiety, you are your own doctor Let me share some scriptures with you; Be careful of Nothing; but in everything by prayers and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God, and the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus (Phil 4:6-7) Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat and drink the sweet and send portion unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be Ye sorry; for the Joy of the Lord is your strength (Neh 8:10) Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ur shall eat, or what Ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what Ye shall put on. Is not your life more than meat and the body than raiment? Behold, the fowls of the air; for they sow not...

Voice It See It

"Life ceases to function when mouth ceases to talk" Anchor Text: “So tell them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Lord, I will do to you the very things I heard you say” Numbers 14:28. To arrive at a correct diagnosis, that will lead to effective medical care, patients tell the doctor exactly how they feel. It is the patient’s description of his/her feelings that prepares the ground for a very effective medical care. As it is in medicine, so it is in other areas of life. In the course of healing ministry of Jesus Christ, He always asked the people He healed, ‘what do you want me to do for you?’ He desired them to speak out what they really wanted. Therefore, until you speak it, you cannot pick it. One Yoru...

Backsliding is not an option. Memorise: Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. James 1:12 Read: 2 Timothy 2:1-7 1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. 6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits. 7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. Message Never attempt backsliding because of the few challenges you are going through, because you may never rec...

A New Way Of Doing Business

I read about a young man, Terry Lobell, who was an unemployed mechanic in the United States. He heard people complaining that advertising was expensive. Then he started thinking; if people are saying advertising is expensive, then it is a problem and therefore a need. So he decided to give people advertising at a cheaper rate. What he did was to mail coupons including the message the company or manufacturer wanted to pass across to the customers. And that was a lot cheaper than advertising in the paper and magazine. His business exploded to the point where he was mailing fifty million pieces of advert per day.  He became a multi-millionaire by solving a problem and making life easier for people. There was also a young man who sent for a transcript of a TV programme and it took months before he could get it. Then it occurred to him that as popular as the TV programme was, there would be many people who wanted the transcript. But if it would take them months to get it, then it...

Clean Up The Stigma

“He who lives right, has more power in his silence than another has by his words” Anchor Text: “I will not speak with you much longer, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold on me” John 14:30. Just a little sin is what satan is waiting for to accuse you before your maker. A former British Royal Air Force employee returned a book to the Malta Public Library 42 years after he borrowed it and he was rewarded with a wristwatch. Emie Rosconet, a resident of the Channel Islands, packed the book when he left Malta in June 1962, and returned it when his wife gave him a holiday to Malta as his 60th birthday present. He said: ‘my conscience pricked me all the time and I decided to restitute’. He was actually expecting to be fired, but instead he was celebrated and given a beautiful wristwatch to encourage others to bring back overdue books. It was difficult for Satan to accuse Job before God because Satan found nothing to hold against him. Concerning Job, God sa...
