A young man asked his father-in-law to explain why a bottle of wine that costs #100 in a top restaurant should really be twenty times as good as a bottle of wine that one can get for a lower price.

And the man said; you are not paying for the wine alone, what you are paying for is the ambience, the service, the location, the waiters expertise, the good company, the fine table cloths, the privacy and discretion, the style and class, the humidity, the fellow dinning guest and the great conversation.

All these, added together, raise the value of the bottle of wine, thus raising the price paid for it.
