Turningpoinnt Today: Nothing Comes From Intertia

moving Images

ā€œThe angel of the Lord came back a second time and touched him and said, ā€œGet up and eat, for the journey is too much for youā€ 1 Kings 19:7.

There is no standing still here; there is no room for idling. There is no permanent resting place here either. Everything and everyone around you is busy with one thing or the other. Being busy implies they are making progress, growing, developing, getting better or working etc. Neither God nor life makes provision for idleness. ā€˜ā€¦My father worked hitherto, I work…’ John 5:17.

Nothing good or productive really comes from inertia (I mean standing still). Every progress made; every development etc has been by diligent work. If those who have passed this world before us were idle, this world would not have been this developed. One of the rules that govern life is that you must keep moving, working learning and keep making efforts.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: ā€œTO KEEP LIVING, YOU MUST KEEP MOVINGā€

Can you ruin your destiny?

God had something in mind when He created you, right? But what if you’ve screwed up? Dropped out? Quit before it was over? Maybe you decided to do your own thing, it didn’t work out, and now you’re just sucking air and hoping there’s still hope. Guess what? There is! For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn. (Romans 11:29 NLT) You don’t even have to start over. Every single thing you failed at? God will use it. (Romans 8:28) Every shot you called that was way off? God will repurpose it. (Proverbs 19:21) Every weakness you thought you had to hide? God’s power will show through it. (2 Corinthians 12:9) God created you for good works. As soon as you quit the past and sell out for Jesus, those works will happen. (Ephesians 2:10) He’s establishing you, step by step. (Proverbs 16:9) God’s a good Father. He knows how to bring you back and take you further than you ever imagined. (Ephesians 3:20) Spend some time really reflecting on these truths. What do you secretly hope is p...

Marriage Booster: Do You Still Love Her/Him ?

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Ephesians 5:25 KJV "This is what I love about you" In the beginning you love everything about him. You are captivated by his six pack, his spirit of adventure, and his lion’s heart. In the beginning you love everything about her. You go crazy with the swing of her hips, a wink or a chewy chocolate cake baked especially for you. One day you wake up. Daily routine has shattered your rose-tinted glasses. ā€œHis six pack is not so hot anymore, instead his joints creak with every move.ā€ Or: ā€œIt would be better if she swung her hips into a gym one of these days.ā€ You realize: ā€œMy partner has changed.ā€ Fortunately! He isn’t standing still. The problem is not the change but rather, that you are a creature of habit. It is your task to rediscover your partner and to simultaneously not forget why you went up the aisle with sparkling eyes to marry your bride/groom. MARRIAGE BOOSTER Write d...

Dominion Mandate Daily Devotional Thursday,March 3

THEME: You Can Create Whatever You Desire John 16:21-27 The instrument with which you exercise dominion over creation is your mouth. You can create whatsoever you desire by speaking that thing into existence.Whatever you say begins to exist in the spiritual form.Jesus said in John 6:63,"The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life". In like manner, you create whatever you say and the things begin to exist in the spiritual form. What you create through words also have life and they continue to live until they find physical expression.  This is exactly what happens when you pray. The things you declare in prayer come alive and begin to exist in their spiritual form. They remain in that spiritual form until they are converted to their tangible equivalent through work. Jesus said,"until now you have asked nothing in My name.Ask,and you will receive, that your joy may be full" (John 16:24). Don't make the mistake of relaxing after you have pray...
