Turning Point Today: Influence Is Power

Hope Solo once said: ‘one thing I have learned through all the ups and downs is that if you are doing things right, then you have a core group of people that has a good influence on you, who you respect and admire, and you know that if they are on your side, you are doing something right’. Influence is powerful on the overall outcome of a man. The question is; what is influence? It is the capacity to have an effect on the character, development or behaviour of someone or something or the effect itself.

We are in a world of influence. No man acts, or behaves only on his personal thinking but also on the influence on him one way or the other. Children are largely influenced by their parents; some, by their peer group. When you see a child acts in either positive or negative ways, be sure he/she got the habitual trait from the parents.
