Value Treatment

Fresh Fire Devotional Wednesday 3rd July 2016
By Femi Monehin

“The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.”
- Mark 12:31

This is how I live my life and this is how I suggest you live your life. Treat everyone below you exactly how you would want them to treat you if you were below them. Who is below you today? Domestic staff? Treat your house help, your cook, your gateman the same way you want him or her to treat you if you were working for them. It will change your life. I know some people will struggle with this because they cannot imagine being the house help or gate man or cook. I know what I am asking you to do is a hard thing but it is the way to your freedom. Your driver, treat him how you would want him to treat you if you were his driver. In Jesus Name you will not move backwards, you will only move forward.

Guess what? Your driver can become the president tomorrow because God is a Master of taking people from the dunghill and setting them among princes. What if he becomes the president tomorrow? So what if you are the boss now? Treat your staff as you would want them to treat you if the roles were reversed. Let this be foremost in your mind every time you relate with people. I know you really want to slap her but before you do ask yourself, if I did this would I want her to slap me? Love your neighbor as yourself…

#3. Focus on Contribution. To unlock concerted action, you must focus on contribution and not on collection. Contribution makes you valuable and people treasure what they consider valuable. If you have two friends, one is always calling to ask for money and the only time you hear from the other friend is when he credits your account. Then you have two incoming calls on your dual SIM phone from both of them. Which call will you pick? Everyone appreciates people that go the extra mile. So give!

Every time I experience a loss [sometimes it happens], maybe someone steals my phone. I always ask myself two questions; first question, do I have an issue with my tithing? Why? Because God says when I tithe, He will rebuke the devourers for my sake. By God’s grace, that usually is not the problem. Second question, am I holding on to something I should have kept where thieves cannot reach? Because God says when you give, you store up treasures in heaven.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I ask for the grace to respond in love and not react harshly; the grace to be a giver and not a taker, in Jesus Name.

THEME: You Can Create Whatever You Desire John 16:21-27 The instrument with which you exercise dominion over creation is your mouth. You can create whatsoever you desire by speaking that thing into existence.Whatever you say begins to exist in the spiritual form.Jesus said in John 6:63,"The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life". In like manner, you create whatever you say and the things begin to exist in the spiritual form. What you create through words also have life and they continue to live until they find physical expression.  This is exactly what happens when you pray. The things you declare in prayer come alive and begin to exist in their spiritual form. They remain in that spiritual form until they are converted to their tangible equivalent through work. Jesus said,"until now you have asked nothing in My name.Ask,and you will receive, that your joy may be full" (John 16:24). Don't make the mistake of relaxing after you have pray...

You Must Forgive Yourself Hebrews 12:1-11 You have heard quite a lot about forgiving those that have offended you – and that you must do. It happens often that the person you must really forgive is yourself. You may have committed an offence or a sin and your conscience has condemned you, just as the Holy Spirit has chastised you. You may also have repented of this sin, confessed it to God and resolved not to go back that way. But you discover that the heaviness, clouded vision, and the erosion of confidence occasioned by the sin you committed continue to weigh you down. At such moments, you need to make another type of confession to God in order to regain your liberty from the weight that holds you down. You have to confess your unbelief in His word that says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). When you have genuinely repented of a sin and confessed it to God; and you have pleaded ...

A Partaker Of Other People's Sins? - Pastor E.A Adeboye

Open Heavens Daily Devotional Friday July 15th 2016 Memory Verse: Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure. - 1 Timothy 5:22 Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 18:28-34 28. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramoth-gilead.  29. And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and will go to the battle; but put thou on thy robes. So the king of Israel disguised himself; and they went to the battle.  30. Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots that were with him, saying, Fight ye not with small or great, save only with the king of Israel.  31. And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the Lord helped him; and God moved them to depart from him.  32.For it came to pass, that, whe...
