During our Lord's physical stay here on earth, He led the way and pointed out the urgency of preaching to the sinner. The huge success of the Lord's work thereafter is seen in the response of sinners like Levin(Matthew) who left worldly wealth behind for spiritual fortune. This is an indication that if today's soulwinner follows in the footsteps of the Lord, he shall likewise record resounding achievements in the field.

We are expected to give our all so that when Christ returns, He will find a teeming righteous church to take home. He is expecting to meet a global congregation which would not have adulterated His biblical teaching of holiness without which no man shall see the Lord with modern doctrines of eternal security and ecumenism.

He is hoping to meet His church imbibing the wine of old-time religion that sustained the faithful prophets and the early apostles. Since we know the time is short for the undertaking of these responsibilities, committed Christians would do well to let evangelism be their meat and to "take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares" (Luke 21:34).

It happens often that the person you must really forgive is yourself. You may have committed an offence or a sin and your conscience has condemned you, just as the Holy Spirit has chastised you. You may also have repented of this sin, confessed it to God and resolved not to go back that way. It is difficult to gather up resources for any productive use, or to assume control of one’s finances if leakages are not identified and blocked. Leakages are channels through which resources or money is been drained, either knowingly or unknowingly. They are instruments employed by the devil to wreck one’s destiny and finances. Thus, whatever drains your resources is never from God (John 10:10). Leakages have both spiritual and physical dimensions.
