ANCHOR TEXT: “Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life”
- John 6:68
It is difficult to have result in whatever one is not committed to. The word commitment is used to describe what one does regardless of how one feels or does not feel. When you are committed to something, what people think about you will not bother you any longer. Stephen Gregg, chairman of Ethis Corporation, sums it up this way, ‘commitment can be displayed in a full range of matters to include the work hours you choose to maintain, how you work to improve your abilities, or what you do for God; what you do for your fellow workers at personal sacrifice.
QUOTE OF THE DAY: “HE WHO IS NOT COMMITTED TO ANYTHING CAN NEVER BE EFFECTIVE IN ANYTHING”
Since this year began, what have you been committed to? Are you truly committed to anything in the real sense of it? Are you committed to your job? Are you committed to the things that God instructed you to do? Are you committed to the promises that you have made to other people, especially your family and your loved ones? Are you truly committed to a life of righteousness, obedience and truth? Are you committed to those resolutions you made when this year started?
