A pretentious, showy life is an empty life; a plain and simple life is a full life”

- Prov.13:7

General G.S. Patton, a veteran war general says, “Success in war depends upon the golden rule of war; Speed – Simplicity – Boldness [audacity]”. Simplify your life. In God’s Favorite House, one of our core values is Simplicity. We do not focus on things that are unnecessary. We are simple people. “A pretentious, showy life is an empty life; a plain and simple life is a full life” Prov.13:7 [MSG, emphasis added]. A lot of people are fake people. You will not find many fake people in God’s Favorite House. If you find, they are new and over time, they will become simple. A pretentious showy life God says, is an empty life. But a plain and simple life is a full life. Your life will be full in Jesus name. Make it simple!

The simplest messages are the most helpful messages. I have listened to a lot of messages; the ones I find most helpful are the simplest ones. They are the most powerful messages. The simplest women are the most beautiful women. Have you noticed? The simplest men are the most powerful and most faithful men. The simplest is always the strongest.

[In Warfare] The Principle of Simplicity states: Prepare clear, uncomplicated plans and clear, concise orders to ensure thorough understanding. What this simply means is, let your plans be clear and communicate that plan clearly. You can apply it everywhere. In your business for instance, what is your plan? Let it be clear and communicate it clearly. If people were to speak with the receptionist, or the guards, or your assistant do they know the plan?

In your home let your plan be simple and communicate it clearly. If your wife is asked, can she say clearly what the direction for the family is this year and beyond?  Is the plan on direction and vision clear? Has it been well communicated? When you simplify your life, you take ambiguity and confusion out of the way. And the mark of a great general is the ability to strip things down to their barest essentials and then focus. If you are going to be a great general, you must learn how to strip things down. Simplify what is before you.

Prayer: Father, I ask for clarity in direction and the grace to make my life simple, in Jesus Name.

THEME: You Can Create Whatever You Desire John 16:21-27 The instrument with which you exercise dominion over creation is your mouth. You can create whatsoever you desire by speaking that thing into existence.Whatever you say begins to exist in the spiritual form.Jesus said in John 6:63,"The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life". In like manner, you create whatever you say and the things begin to exist in the spiritual form. What you create through words also have life and they continue to live until they find physical expression.  This is exactly what happens when you pray. The things you declare in prayer come alive and begin to exist in their spiritual form. They remain in that spiritual form until they are converted to their tangible equivalent through work. Jesus said,"until now you have asked nothing in My name.Ask,and you will receive, that your joy may be full" (John 16:24). Don't make the mistake of relaxing after you have pray...

You Must Forgive Yourself Hebrews 12:1-11 You have heard quite a lot about forgiving those that have offended you – and that you must do. It happens often that the person you must really forgive is yourself. You may have committed an offence or a sin and your conscience has condemned you, just as the Holy Spirit has chastised you. You may also have repented of this sin, confessed it to God and resolved not to go back that way. But you discover that the heaviness, clouded vision, and the erosion of confidence occasioned by the sin you committed continue to weigh you down. At such moments, you need to make another type of confession to God in order to regain your liberty from the weight that holds you down. You have to confess your unbelief in His word that says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). When you have genuinely repented of a sin and confessed it to God; and you have pleaded ...

Block All The Leakages

“In order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes” 2 Corinthians 2:11. It is difficult to gather up resources for any productive use, or to assume control of one’s finances if leakages are not identified and blocked. Leakages are channels through which resources or money is been drained, either knowingly or unknowingly. They are instruments employed by the devil to wreck one’s destiny and finances. Thus, whatever drains your resources is never from God (John 10:10). Leakages have both spiritual and physical dimensions. One can experience leakage if one is under a curse-not giving God His dues in the form of tithe; if you have flair for life’s frivolities; if you commit sin; if you constantly experience physical or spiritual robberies; if you are involved in gambling; when there is an illegal access to your secrets or bank accounts; and when you are perpetually under demonic attack of sickness; when you invest heavily in a business you do not know an...
