Certain Things Are Better Kept

Certain things are better kept than unveiled. Why? Satan does not have power over what you keep in your mind, but can destroy, manipulate and abort whatever you have deliberately or carelessly reveal. Some years ago, robbers scuttled a young man’s dream of living in America, when they attacked him and took away all the money meant for his travel expenses. Having won America visa lottery and succeeded in raising about N400,000 from relations and friends.

As he returned from the embassy with his visa duly stamped in his passport, the family fixed a date for a send-forth party. It was that very night, just after the party, that the armed robbers (a group of four men) struck. They took away all his money including the passport containing the visa. Since he had resigned his job before the send-forth party, he is today selling food by the roadside in Lagos suburb, to earn a living.

Beloved, do you know there are some things God will not want you even to mention to your relations.
