Two young Americans were on a recreation adventure in Iraq in 2009. Their adventure took them to the Iraqi-Iranian border. They were held by Iranian security forces with allegations of entering into Iranian territory illegally and were accused of being American spies. The young men pleaded their innocence. They said where they were arrested was an unmarked portion of the Iraqi-Iranian border and they did not know whether they actually strayed into Iran. For over 2 years, they were kept in near solitary confinement in a 21/2 by 4 metres cell,

being led blind-folded many times into their cell room. Finally, in September 2011, after over 2 years in confinement, they were set free after a million dollar bail bond was brokered by the Oman Diplomatic authorities. Freedom eventually came after over two years!

It happens often that the person you must really forgive is yourself. You may have committed an offence or a sin and your conscience has condemned you, just as the Holy Spirit has chastised you. “In order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes” 2 Corinthians 2:11. It is difficult to gather up resources for any productive use, or to assume control of one’s finances if leakages are not identified and blocked. Leakages are channels through which resources or money is been drained, either knowingly or unknowingly. They are instruments employed by the devil to wreck one’s destiny and finances.
