THEME: DOMINION FUNCTIONS THROUGH REVELATION
Isaiah 11:1-9

Dominion is a function of revelation, not education. The seat of man’s dominion is in his inward man. The software for functioning in dominion is revelation knowledge.
Education exists in three different levels. There is education at the highest level which is the education of the spirit man. It gives man access to the deep things of God which are beyond the scope of man's natural capabilities. The privilege to see, hear and know the secret things of God is the highest education a man can have. Access to this privilege is opened through worship, prayer and the study of God’s word.

The next level of education is the education of the mind. This is what happens when people go to school and acquire knowledge; some, unto becoming experts in their chosen fields of pursuit. Some grow to become professors and intellectual giants but are grossly limited in the area of knowing God and accessing spiritual education and guidance from Him.

Education of the body is known as physical education. This is the education given to the body through training to acquire various skills and competences that are valuable in life. Some have developed their bodies to become competent in some sports to the extent that the dexterity and skills the body has acquired has become a major income earner.

To excel in life, you have to grow constantly in wisdom and knowledge and understanding. Let the various dimensions of the Spirit of God listed in our passage today illuminate your heart. Jesus died for you to make you the best you can be.

Pray that the Spirit of wisdom, knowledge and understanding will rest upon you.
Pray that you abide in righteousness and faithfulness.

CONFESSION: The earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord’s glory; I am a willing vessel wholly available for use.

His Channels

Rom.1:20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God [with emphasis]. So far we have examined three channels God uses to speak to us. If you are not reading your Bible consistently, if you are not listening to messages over and over again, and if you are not accountable to other believers, you do not have believers that are speaking into your life, you have already missed three main channels God speaks through. Channel #4: God speaks to us through His Creation. Ps.19:1 The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. 2 Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. 3 They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard. 4 Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world [with emphasis]. God’s cre...

THEME: You Can Create Whatever You Desire John 16:21-27 The instrument with which you exercise dominion over creation is your mouth. You can create whatsoever you desire by speaking that thing into existence.Whatever you say begins to exist in the spiritual form.Jesus said in John 6:63,"The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life". In like manner, you create whatever you say and the things begin to exist in the spiritual form. What you create through words also have life and they continue to live until they find physical expression.  This is exactly what happens when you pray. The things you declare in prayer come alive and begin to exist in their spiritual form. They remain in that spiritual form until they are converted to their tangible equivalent through work. Jesus said,"until now you have asked nothing in My name.Ask,and you will receive, that your joy may be full" (John 16:24). Don't make the mistake of relaxing after you have pray...

THEME: RETREAT TO REFRESH READ: Matt. 11:25-30 When some musicians want to release great songs, they retreat to secluded places where they can reflect, meditate and create. Some choose places overlooking the vast oceans, some choose where there are waterfalls, and some choose places with thick forestations.  As they observe the beauty of nature, the swift moves and songs of the soaring birds, the colourful flowering vegetations, the serene beaches and the unending waves of the nearby waters, they capture inspiration that helps them develop the hit songs they have been longing for. I met one of the world’s renowned musicians in Atlanta, USA a few years ago where journalist surrounded him and were asking what he had come to do and why his beards had grown so much. He said that his last album did not perform well enough and he was incubating another one he wanted to release that would perform better. He said that he needed to pull away from the Noise of New York and California ...
