THEME: SPEAK TO THE DRY BONES
Ezekiel 37:1-13
A practical example of how to achieve the seemingly impossible through prayer was given in our reading today. The narration opened with a clear indication that the event took place while the person involved was in the spirit. “The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.” (Ezek. 37:1).
You don’t start prophesying until you have entered into the very presence of God through tenacious worship and prayer. If you attempt to prophesy outside the presence of God, the words you will be speaking will be mere letters and the bible says that the letter killeth. “Who also hath made us able ministers of the New Testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life” (2 Corinthians 3:6).
The valley was full of dry bones, yet the question was put to the key figure, “Son of man, can these bones live?” This is asking, “Can that seemingly impossible situation confronting you be turned around?”
Subsequently, the direction was given on how to turn the impossible situations around. “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: "Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live....” (Ezek 37:4-5).
Your difficult challenges will not respond to your emotions or tears. But when you fire the prophetic missiles of prophecy at them, they bow and melt away.
Pray that nothing shall stop your destiny from being fulfilled
Pray for protection of your family. Declare that no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper
CONFESSION: Nothing is impossible to ‘God. God is in me; so nothing shall be impossible to me.
